Magdi Ahmed Ali

Magdi Ahmed Ali (1952) graduated in 1976 at the medical faculty in Cairo, and in 1981 at the Higher Institute for Cinema, also in Cairo. He was assistant director on more than twenty films, including those by Youssef Chahine, Mohammed Khan and Khairy Beshara. He has so far made three documentaries and wrote the screenplay for Tarek Telmessany's Laughter, Seriousness, Playing and Love. Life... My Passion is his feature début.
