Maciej Sobieszczanski

Maciej SOBIESZCZANSKI (Poland) is a director and scriptwriter and works as a film expert for the Polish film Institute. He wrote the script for The Simple Story About Love, for which director Arkadiusz Jakubik won the Grand Prix at the Gdynia Film Festival. The film is regarded as one of the best Polish titles in 2011. In that same year, he made his debut as a filmmaker with Birthday. The short film was screened at several film festivals. Sobieszczanski lives and works in Warsaw and is in Rotterdam for the first time in 2015 with The Performer.
