Lisa Spilliaert

Lisa Spilliaert (1990, Tokyo) grew up in Japan and Belgium, and is currently living and working in Gent, where she graduated from KASK. In her photography, she reflects on living in-between these two cultures, hence posing a dialogue between East and West. During the project Hotel Red Shoes (2014), a mixture between film and installation, she worked together with her sister Clara Spilliaert.
