Laurent Cantet
Laurent CANTET (1961, Melle, France) studied from 1986 to 1994 at the film school in Paris (IDHEC), where he made his first short films. Les sanguinaires (1997) was his first feature film. In 2008, he received the Palme d'Or for his film Entre les murs at the Cannes film festival. For 7 Days in Havana (2012), an omnibus film about Havana in seven chapters, Cantet directed the short film La fuente.
