Khairi Beshara

TATUSKhairy Bishara (1947) studied directing at film school in Cairo. Since 1974 he has made a large number of shorts and documentaries. His second long feature, House Boat No. 70 (1981) was the first Egyptian film ever to be screened at the Rotterdam festival (in 1983). Another well-known film by him was The Collar and the Bracelet (1986).
