Kevin Brownlow

Kevin Brownlow (1938, Crowborough) grew up in London and was already active putting together a film collection in his early youth. At the age of fourteen, he made a first film and at the age of eighteen, he embarked on his first full-length feature, It Happened Here, that he completed ten years later. He is film historian, restorer, writer and has made films and TV series about e.g. Abel Gance, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton.
