Kenneth DAGATAN (Philippines) is a Manila-based writer and director whose professional start came when his short film, Sanctissima (2015), premiered at the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, a Philippine festival famed for launching generations of new filmmaking talent. It caught the attention of the largest studio in the Philippines, ABS-CBN, who then financed his debut feature, Ma, a horror film about a young boy who sells his soul to a sinister entity in order to bring his dead mother back to life. 

In My Mother’s Skin (2023) is his second feature film.
