Kawai + Okamura

OKAMURA Hiroki and KAWAI Takumi (1968, Japan) followed an art education at the Kyoto City University. Okamura specialised in oil painting and Kawai in making sculptures. In 1993, they formed the artistic duo Kawai + Okamura. They make films and installations that are shown around the world. Their film Head Wrest - 3001 Series (2000) won the Special Prize at the Chofu Cinema Festival in Japan.
