Karel Kachyna (1924, Vyskov, Czechoslovakia 1924) was one of the first to graduate from the Prague Film School. He has made several documentaries and a feature film with Vojt+k+ch Jasn+U+. In 1956 he completed his first film. Kachyna makes many films starring children and adolescents.
