K8 Hardy

K8 HARDY (1977, USA) is an artist working in sculpture, video and photography. She studied at Smith College, the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts, and the Whitney Independent Study Program. In her work she researches themes such as feminsim, gender identity and homosexuality and explores the medium of film and photography. She is co-founder and member of the collective LTTR and the and the New York-based activist group Working Artists and the Greater Economy (W.A.G.E). Outfitumentary (2016) is her first feature film.
