Still: I Can See the Sun but I Can't Feel It YetJoseph WILSON is a queer artist, activist, filmmaker and drag performer, based in East London. He graduated from the University of the Arts London with a BA in Fine Arts with a focus on print and time-based media. His work explores LGBTQIA+ narratives, taking inspiration from his own lived experiences as well as documenting the people and places around him, amplifying their voices and celebrating their stories through his art. Wilson's first documentary project, Drag is my Ecstasy (2014), screened in the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. He has also had work premiere at BFI London Film Festival, FRINGE Queer Arts Festival as well as the global video platform NOWNESS. Wilson was selected as one of the FLAMIN (Film London Artists Moving Image Network) artists in recognition of his film Isn't it a Beautiful World (2021), which screened at IFFR 2022. I Can See the Sun but I Can't Feel It Yet (2023) also screened as part of the Tiger Short Competition, this time at IFFR 2023.
