John Calvert

John CALVERT (1911–2013, USA) was a magician, actor and writer. He became fascinated with magic at an early age and for eight decades, Calvert performed his magic shows on stage. Hollywood celebrities like Gary Cooper, Cary Grant and Danny Kaye helped him in his acts. He also performed in around 40 films during the 1940s and 1950s. Even after his 100th birthday, Calvert performed magic, travelled and lectured extensively.
