Jisun YOUM (1976, South Korea) is a director and TV producer. Since 2003, he has worked for the Korean Broadcasting System. In 2009, he co-directed the Peabody Award-winning documentary series Noodle Road: Connecting Asia’s Kitchens. In 2011, he directed 100 Years’ Soup Wars. In 2018, he co-directed Making of Olympic Ceremonies, a behind-the-scenes look at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. He directed the episode Modern Korea Great Expectations (2019) of the award-winning documentary series Modern Korea (2019-2021). In 2020, he directed the special episode Modern Korea Doing Our Best the People’s Network.
