Jim McBride

Jim McBride (1941, New York) made his début in 1967 with David Holzman's Diary. The cult status this gave him did not protect him in the seventies from the need to earn money as e.g. a taxi driver. In the eighties, McBride reappeared with Breathless, a remake of Godard's A bout de souffle, and with the attractive thriller The Big Easy.
