Ji Dan
JI Dan (1963, Heilongjiang, China) studied to be a teacher, but picked up the moviecamera after a stay in Tokyo, Japan,where she studied. Her films have been shown at (documentary) film festivals worldwide. het previous film, Spiral Staircase of Harbin (2008), was awarded at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival and the China Documentary Film Festival.
