Jasper Rigole

Jasper RIGOLE (1980, Belgium) is a multimedia artist working with film, media art, found footage and installations. In 2004 he graduated from the film department of the KASK / School of Arts in Ghent. His main project is the International Institute for the Conservation, Archiving and Distribution of Other People’s Memories. This fictitious institute takes as its starting point an archive of found films, photographs and documents, which the artist has gathered over the years. Jasper Rigole has been affiliated with KASK in Ghent as an artistic researcher since 2009. His research project was generously funded by the Research Fund University College Ghent.
