James Mangold
James Mangold (New York) studied film at the California Institute of the Arts. One of his student films, Future View (1982), reached the final of the Student Academy Awards. His short film Victor (1991) won the Silver Award during the Chicago International Film Festival. Heavy is his first full-length feature.
