Jacinto Esteva Grewe

Jacinto Esteva GREWE (1936-1985, Spain) was one of the founders of the Escuela de Barcelona. He studied in Barcelona, Geneva and Paris. After his studies, he became involved in filmmaking, and in 1965 he founded his production company, Filmscontacto. He made his first feature film, Far From the Trees, in 1966, although it was seven years before the film was released. In 1985 he passed away in Barcelona.
