J.C. Chandor

J.C. CHANDOR (1973, USA) is married to artist Cameron Goodyear and lives in a suburb of New York. He has been working as a director, producer and writer of award-winning documentaries, advertisements and films for the past fifteen years. He previously studied American Studies and Film Studies in Ohio and Film Production at New York University. His fiction feature debut Margin Call (2011) was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and won five awards including Best Directiorial Debut from The National Board of Review. A Most Violent Year (2014) marks Chandor’s first time in Rotterdam.
