Ho Quang Minh

After acquiring Swiss nationality, HO Quang Minh (1949, Hanoi, Vietnam) graduated from the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute and worked for a while as a computer engineer. In 1979, he went to Paris to study at film school, but two years later he decided to prolong his visit to Vietnam to embark on a career as film maker. His first project was a documentary about life in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) for Vietnamese television. His third film Gone, Gone, Forever Gone was the Vietnamese entry for the 1996 Academy Awards.
