Hirakawa Youki
Youki HIRAKAWA (1983, Japan) is a video artist. His artistic approach is similar to Media Archaeology. In the last few years, he has been creating works particularly through alchemical processes such as combustion, distillation and purification. Ever since 2017, he has been working on his project Lost Films, which deals with a large number of lost films around the world and creates a kind of video poetry from these.
