Hildegarde Duane

Hidegarde DUANE (USA) studied at Barnard College, New York Institute of Fine Arts, NYU and attended a PhD program in Chinese Art History at Harvard. She started exhibiting narrative art in 1976 and her work takes the shape of videos, photo stories, calligraphy and a blog. In addition to her solo work, she has been collaborating on a regular basis with David Lamelas on videos, installations and photography. MOMA, Centre Pompidou, Museo Reina Sofia and other galleries and museums hold her works in their collections.
