Filmmaker Helena STEFÁNSDOTTIR (Iceland) is based in Reykjavík where she runs her own film production company Wonderland Films. Her background in dance influences her work as an experimental film director and she holds a MFA in video art from the University of Gothenburg. As a freelance video artist, Stefánsdottir has supported the biggest theatres in Reykjavík, the opera and smaller independent theatre companies. Natatorium (2024), selected for IFFR 2024, is her debut feature film.
