Guido van Driel

Guido van DRIEL (1962, Netherlands) graduated in History and is a self-taught graphic artist. He works as an illustrator for several newspapers and magazines. He has published several graphic novels, including For Each Other in Dokkum (2004) and The Fall of Amsterdam (2007), made a short documentary (U spreekt met Frank Laufer/This is Frank Laufer Speaking, 2000) and a short film, Groen is toch de mooiste kleur voor gras/Green is the most beautiful colour for grass, isn’t it (2007). In 2013 he made his feature debut with De wederopstanding van een klootzak/The Resurrection of a Bastard. His second feature, Bloody Marie, is being screened at IFFR 2019.
