Giovanni C. Lorusso

Filmmaker and photographer Giovanni C. LORUSSO studied literature at the The Sapienza University of Rome, philosophy at Birkbeck College London and filmmaking at Sydney Film School. He has worked on cinematic and photographic projects all around the world that has premiered in Venice, Berlin and Rotterdam. Larusso has published three books: The Limits of Rupture, on the aftermath of August 2020 explosion in Beirut, Lebanon, VOCI, an experimental analog work and Keep Fire Burning, a photographic work originally produced during his first journey to Johannesburg in 2018. His second feature length film, Song of All Ends (2024) is selected for IFFR 2024.
