Götz SPIELMANN (1961, Austria) began writing plays and poetry while at school. He attended the film school at the Vienna Film Academy and emerged as a screenwriter and filmmaker. In 2006, he founded his own production company Spielmannfilm. His films have been shown worldwide and have been awarded several times. His film Revenge was nominated for an Academy Award in 2009. Since 2011, Spielmann is also professor at the Vienna Film Academy.
