Firouzeh Khosrovani

Firouzeh KHOSROVANI (Iran) settled in Italy to complete her art studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Brera. She made her filmmaking debut with a documentary about the Iran-Iraq War. In 2007 she realised Rough Cut, a documentary about mutilated mannequins, where disturbing reproductions of the plastic female figure become a metaphor for the veiled Iranian woman. Her latest film is 1001 Irans.
