Fernando E. Solanas

Fernando E. Solanas (1936, Olivos, Argentina) is one of the most prominent directors of Argentina. He started his career in the Ciné Liberacion collective, a group of filmmakers who fought against the military regime. His film Sur won a prize in Cannes in 1988.
