Fellipe Gamarano Barbosa op IFFR
Fellipe Gamarano BARBOSA (1980, Brazil) completed his MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University in New York. Two of his shorts screened at the Sundance Film Festival, of which Salt Kiss won numerous awards. In 2007, he was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film". His fiction feature debut Casa Grande (2014) had already won an award while still at the script stage. Gabriel and the Mountain (2017) had its world premiere in Cannes where it won the France 4 Visionary Award and the Gan Foundation Support for Distribution Award.
