Farinaz K. Javan

After initial studies at Meli University in Tehran, Farinaz Karami JAVAN (1967, Teheran) moved to the US and became interested in film making. She attended basic film courses at Brooklyn College (CUNY), made three shorts and worked in various capacities related to film production. Three years after her return to Iran, Smoke & Mirror is her first feature.
