Elisa STRINNA (1982, Italy) is an Italian multimedia artist working in both Italy and Rotterdam. She studied Visual Arts at IUAV, graduating in 2011, and gained a postgraduate diploma in Documents and Contemporary Art at ÉESI in France. Strinna has been studying moving images from a very young age. Her early works were experiments with video art. In 2011, she began to explore creative documentaries with Dust, a short fiction about migration in Veneto. Her creative documentary The Antarctic Gardener (2022), selected for IFFR 2023, explored research on greenhouse infrastructure in an extreme environment. Her work has been exhibited at Documenta Fifteen, Taipei Biennial, MAXXI Museum, IFFR and MART Museum, among others.
