Djinn (Ong)

DJINN (ONG) (1968, Singapore) began his film career as assistent director on Yao jie huang hou/Bugis Street, one of Singapore's first feature films in the 1990s, directed by Hong Kong's well-known art-house director Yonfan. For the past five years, he has lived and worked between Singapore and Los Angeles. His first short By the Dawn's Early Rise won the Best Short Film Award at the Singapore Film Festival. Perth is his second feature.
