Dev Benegal
Dev BENEGAL (1960, New Delhi, India) studied film for two years at the University of New York. He started his career at the side of Shyam Benegal, one of the greatest independent film makers in India. His first film English, August (1994), a satire on the Indian bureaucracy and the Indian Generation X, has been screened at several festivals.
