David Barison

David Barison (Melbourne, 1972) made his first film at the age of 13: it was a scientific investigation of household accidents. After studying philosophy, politics and public relations, he has now returned to making films. Daniel Ross made the acquaintance of David Barison at university. Ross studied physics, but soon left for the arts faculty, where he focused on philosophy. He graduated on the subject of Heidegger. The Ister is a first film for both of them.
