Daisuke Nagaoka

NAGAOKA Daisuke (1973, Yagamata, Japan) was educated in Fine Art at Nihon University in Tokyo and Wimbledon School of Arts in London. Known for his extremely detailed drawings, he also creates video work using the process of pencil drawing as he did with his recent film Traces of the Other (2010). Besides participating in exhibitions and film festivals, Nagaoka gives 'live drawing' workshops in the Tokyo area.
