Constatin POPESCU (1973, Romania) is a filmmaker, author and screenwriter, and worked as a production assistant with Lucian Pintilie and Michael Haneke. His short films and feature films have been shown in film festivals in the United States, Australia and Europe. Popescu also directed TV series for Romanian network ProTV and HBO Romania. He proved himself as an all-round maker by directing a historical piece, a family drama and with Pororoca (2017), a psychological thriller.
