CHENG Hsien-Yu (1984, Taiwan) is an artist and software developer. Most of his works are electronic installations, software, and experimental bioelectronics devices. His works are concerned with the relationship between human behaviour, emotion, software, and machines. Currently he is focusing on the field of biology. Revenge Scenes, co-created by artist Su Hui-Yu and selected for IFFR 2022, is a live art and installation work. Cheng was selected by Dutch YoungTalent, and won the First Prize of Taipei Digital Art Award, the Quality Award of New Media of Kaohsiung Art Award, and Tung Chung Art Award of Hong’s Foundation.
