Chen Kuo-fu
Chen Kuo-Fu (1958) was writer, film critic and editor of a film magazine. He also organised film festivals, staged several plays and made a number of television documentaries and music videos. In 1989 he made his feature-film début with School Girls. Treasure Island, his second feature, was produced by Hou Hsiao Hsien.
