Charles Libin

Charles LIBIN (New York) began his career in the eighties directing music videos. In 1988 he directed his first feature, a black comedy titled The Distribution of Lead. He worked as camera operator on films including In the Soup (1992) by Alexandre Rockwell, Trees Lounge (1996) by Steve Buscemi, Neil Young: Heart of Gold (2006) by Jonathan Demme and Be Kind Rewind (2007) by Michel Gondry. He was director of photography on Paul Kirk's Able Danger (IFFR 2008).
