Catherine Corsini

Catherine CORSINI (1956, France) is a director, screenwriter and actor. She made three short films before she released her feature debut Poker in 1988. She became known to the general public in 1999 with La nouvelle Ève/The New Eve. In 2001, La répétition/Repetition was selected to compete in Cannes and was nominated for a Palme d'Or award. La belle saison/Summertime (2015) won the Variety Piazza Grande Award in Locarno. In April 2016, Corsini was announced as the President of the Jury for the Caméra d'Or prize in Cannes. Un amour impossible/An Impossible Love (2018) is an adaptation of Christine Angot's novel that was published in 2015.
