Bouli Lanners

Bouli LANNERS (1965, Moresnet-Chapelle, Belgium) studied painting at the art academy in Liège and is a self-taught filmmaker. He has worked as director, actor and producer. He acted in many films, often playing deadpan-comical parts (Aaltra, Louise-Michel). His magic-realist films have been have been awarded at the film festivals of Cannes and Berlin (C.I.C.A.E. Awards for Ultranova, The Giants).
