Bert Haanstra

Bert Haanstra (1916, Holten) was painter, photographer and cameraman before going into film directing. He is one of Holland's best-known documentary-makers and also made the features Fanfare and When the Poppies Bloom Again. he has received more than sixty awards at international festivals.
