Béla Tarr
Béla TARR (1955, Hungary) graduated in 1981 from the Budapest Theatre and Film Academy. He worked for a while for MAFILM and was part of the group of young filmmakers at the well-known Béla Balász film production studio. Tarr has made several features, including Damnation (1987) and Satan's Tango (1994). His feature The Man from London (2007) was nominated for a Golden Palm at Cannes.
