Arnaud Desplechin

Arnaud DESPLECHIN (1960, France) grew up in the northern French town of Roubaix. He attended the IDHEC film school in Paris and made two short films during his study. He had already written the screenplay for his feature début La sentinelle. Desplechin has also worked on films by Eric Rochant and Papatakis and has written and directed several features since. The documentary L’aimée was awarded the Doc/It Award 2007 in Venice.
