Angela Ricci Lucchi

Angela RICCI LUCCHI (1942-2018, Italy) studied in Italy and attended a painting course in Vienna with Oskar Kokoschka. She and her partner Yervant Gianikian have built a huge reputation with their poetic and essayistic montages of historical film material. She passed away in early 2018. I diari di Angela – Noi due cineasti (2018), the touching tribute to her, is the last project of Ricci Lucchi and Gianikian together.
