Andrzej Munk

Andrzej MUNK (1920, Poland) was a director and writer, known for Pasazerka/Passenger (1963), Eroica/Heroism (1958) and Zezowate szczęście/Bad Luck (1960). He took part in the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and became one of the most influential artists of the post-Stalinist period. His films are considered classics of the Polish Film School. He died as a result of a car crash in 1961.
