Andrzej Jakimowski
Andrzej JAKIMOWSKI (1963, Warsaw, Poland) studied philosophy first (1988) and then in 1991 completed his studies at the film academy in Katowice. He made short films and short documentaries. Squint Your Eyes was his first feature film and has won several prizes, including a special mention by the FIPRESCI jury at the Mannheim Festival. His second feature Tricks was awarded the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film in Venice 2007.
