Amanda KRAMER is an author and filmmaker. Her short films Bark (2016), Intervene (2018), and Sin Ultra (2019) were screened at Fantastic Fest, Chicago Underground Film Festival, and the Boston Underground Film Festival’s Dispatches from the Underground. Her screenplays have been accepted in the IFP’s Emerging Filmmakers programme and Frontières International Co-Production Market in Brussels. She also makes music videos, which have premiered on Vogue, LA Record, Flaunt Magazine and Complex. Kramer’s feature film Paris Window (2018) opened the Women Texas Film Festival and won the jury prize for Creative Vision at the DTLA Film Festival. Her feature film Ladyworld (2018) was selected for the Frontières Buyers Showcase at the Marché du Film at Cannes. The film had its US premiere at Fantastic Fest and its international premiere at London BFI Film Festival, and was screened internationally at many other film festivals. Distributed by Cleopatra Entertainment, Ladyworld had its theatrical and streaming release in August 2019. Please Baby Please and Give Me Pity!, both world premieres at IFFR 2022, are part of the Focus: Amanda Kramer programme.
