Alexandre Rockwell

Alexandre Rockwell (Boston, 1956) worked at the Harvard Carpenter Center for the Arts and between 1976 and 1977 he studied American literature at the University of Massachusetts. His feature-film debut Lenz, made after a number of short films, became an international festival hit. His second feature, Hero, was warmly received by the critics and won the special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
