Alex Piperno op IFFR

Alex PIPERNO (1985, Uruguay) was born in Montevideo. He studied Film Directing at the Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires. He has published a number of books of poetry, including Sahara (2009), Maschwitz (2010) and Bagrejaponés (2010). After several short films, Piperno directed the Hubert Bals Fund-supported Window Boy Would Also Like to Have a Submarine, his feature debut. The film had its world premiere at the Berlinale in 2020.
